IKEA Patio Set
After over 4 years in our house, we finally splurged for a decent (actually our very first) patio set… and where else to get it but the big, the great, the IKEA.
We’ve (mostly my wife) been looking at these for a while now. The problem was my picky-ness in patio sets. I didn’t want a glass-top table, didn’t think a round table would work on our deck, and the chairs had to be comfy, and it’s not something I really wanted to spend much money on. Not too much to ask, really. After all the looking around, we finally settled on this one.
Gotta say, we love it.
Here’s to enjoying many beautiful summer evenings outside. Next task(s) for the backyard – get the garden going, finish a little landscaping, and get to work designing/building a swing set with my dad.

Saw it today, and it does look wonderful. Comfy, too. Don’t give up on Dad building the swingset. If I could weld, it would be done by now.
Ahhh, You know you’ve made it when you have patio furniture that isn’t plastic. I too hope to join the realms of patio furnituredom sometime in the near future. Ima go with next summer.
