WordPress, Google, and Me.
I’ve been designing websites for a good 4+ years now… and recently I’ve seen a breakthrough in how websites are both designed and managed.
The Answer? WordPress.
I have come to love WordPress as a blogging platform over the last couple of years, but in the last 6 months or so I have seen it used for much more than just blogs. WordPress can (and does) make a simply incredible CMS (Content Management System) for non-blog websites. It will change the way we build all websites – personal and business. Everyone that wants/needs a website, NEEDS a way to update it easily without having to call the “web designer” to make every little change – and believe me, your web designer doesn’t want you calling them with every little change either. WordPress provides that platform.
You might be wondering from the title what Google has to do with any of this? Everything. WordPress blogs have a lot of good SEO features built right in, and its super easy to add some custom plugins and settings to push those over the top! That means that people will find your website. I have been down right amazed at the search ranking of some of my lastest posts – I’m coming in higher on the list than very large companies of who I mention in my blog posts.
Bottom-Line? Easy. If you want or need a website, I’m your guy
I am currently working on custom WordPress Themes and Plugins to help you with your next website. Best of all, its cheap for you because WordPress is FREE. Your only cost is in the hosting and customizing of your new website. Another great benefit is YOU get to manage it, adding in the text, images, etc. that you need to keep your site up-to-date.
